On the 12th September, we were delighted to host members for our 5th regional fleet forum events held for our members in the last 12 months. The event was hosted at the impressive Magtec Electrical Drive Systems 65,000 sq ft production facility in Rotherham. Voted manufacturing company of the year in Sheffield 2022, Magtec provide a range of innovative solutions for specialist Electric Vehicles, including supply of; new complete Electric vehicles in the >7.5t category, direct to OEM production line electric drive systems, and vehicle repowering to electric drive systems from Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles.
Representatives from 12 Local Authorities in the North of England joined TPPL, Magtec and a range of suppliers to discuss fleet decarbonisation themes and products from key fleet suppliers. A range of vehicles and products were on display with representatives from vehicle manufacturers and distributors on hand to answer product questions from the attendees.
