In collaboration with North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) we are delighted to announce that our Framework Agreement has enabled Durham County Council to take delivery of two Mercedes Econic 2630L’s. These impressive Mercedes refuse vehicles are part of a batch of nine, all of which are set to be delivered this week.
These are the authority’s first refuse vehicles fitted with Active Brake Assist 5 (with pedestrian recognition) and Electric Parking Brake (with hold function). In addition, their Rear Guard Assist System works in conjunction with the Wabco TailGuard system, offering safer reversing at speeds below 15 km/h.
