The Procurement Partnership (TPPL) launched its new Building Materials Framework, in partnership with STAR Procurement in May 2025. The Framework scope expands on building material categories currently available via the existing TPPL NEPO219 Building Materials and Modular Buildings DPS.

In addition to traditional merchanting goods and services, the expanded framework scope includes Tools, Equipment and PPE under lot 6.  4 market-leading suppliers have been appointed providing organisations with better national coverage, from a diverse range of suppliers. For ease of access, a separate web page for this lot has been created. The following goods are accessible via the new lot:

Lot 6: Tools, Equipment and PPE

• Power tools (wired and cordless) and all required accessories including batteries, chargers, and consumables.
• Hand tools and equipment, from screwdrivers through to work benches.
• PPE & clothing, including all safety clothing and PPE, as well as general day to day workwear.

The suppliers were selected based on not only their ability to supply product, but also the extra services available to support members. Extra services available include next-day deliveries, core range stockholding, and expert training and guidance.

Members can benefit from the ability to call off directly from the framework, saving time and resource. These have been added to our frameworks to ensure easy, compliant access for public sector buyers with tight deadlines.
