We are delighted to contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions by enabling Sunderland City Council to purchase a brand new Dennis Eagle eCollect. This state of the art electric refuse vehicle was procured via our Hertfordshire County Council Purchase Framework.
This 27 tonne electric RCV will not only help reduce carbon emissions but deliver improved cost and operational efficiency for the Council. It joins a fleet of Nissan Leaf, 29 Nissan NV200 electric light commercial vehicles and Nissan Leaf, with plans underway to acquire a further seven low carbon EVs in line with the city’s Low Carbon Strategy.
