The Procurement Partnership (TPPL) has launched its NEW Fleet Rental Framework in collaboration with Commercial Services Kent Ltd (CSKL). The Framework, reference; TPPLCSKL03, is available to all existing and future TPPL members, and the wider public sector in the United Kingdom, with immediate effect.

The scope has been broadened slightly from the preceding framework to include long term flexi-rent solutions for all vehicle categories covered within the framework, under lot four. 44 suppliers have been appointed providing organisations with National coverage, from a diverse range of suppliers to the vehicle rental sector.

The framework replaces its’ very popular predecessor, now becoming the Framework’s third iteration. The previous version was regarded as one of the leading public sector vehicle rental frameworks. More than 150 contracting authorities across the UK accessed the solution, including local authorities, housing providers, educational institutions, police and fire authorities and charitable organisations. The framework supported approximately £60,000,000 of vehicle rental spend.

Framework Lot structure

Lot 1: Hire of Passenger Cars and Light Commercial Vehicles (25 suppliers)

Lot 2: Hire of Minibus, Bus, and Coaches (10 suppliers)

Lot 3: Hire of Medium, Heavy, and Specialist Commercial Vehicles up to 44t (24 suppliers)

Lot 4: Long-term and flexible rental (10 suppliers)

Lot 5: Car clubs and pool car schemes, including travel management systems and packages (3 suppliers)
