The Procurement Partnership (TPPL) has launched its NEW Purchase of Bus Coach Framework in collaboration with Commercial Services Kent Ltd (CSKL). This bus framework, reference; TPPLPSBUS01, is available to all existing and future TPPL members. Moreover, it is available to the wider public sector in the United Kingdom, with immediate effect.
We’ve expanded the framework to include community transport services for SEND, PTS, and care homes. Thus, creating a single, comprehensive bus framework for passenger transport supplies and services. This makes it a comprehensive bus framework for passenger transport supplies and services. With 35 leading suppliers appointed, organisations benefit from full national coverage. These suppliers offer a diverse range of products and services to public sector passenger transport operators.
The framework replaces its’ popular predecessor, now becoming the Framework’s fourth iteration. Correspondingly, our experience in bus procurement spans more than 10 years and covers several framework agreements. Hundreds of public sector organisations have accessed them to support efficient, cost-effective procurements. Moreover, more than 100 contracting authorities across the United Kingdom accessed the outgoing framework. This included local authorities, educational institutions, NHS Trusts, and charitable organisations. The framework supported the purchase of approximately 1000 vehicles. TPPL facilitated over 100 million in transactions, helping members drive efficient, compliant procurement projects. Additionally, members can secure best value outcomes through this framework.

Managing Director of TPPL, James Brennan commented;
“We are delighted to bring the latest version of our minibus, bus, and coach framework agreement to market in partnership with Commercial Services Kent Limited (CSKL). With iterative improvements to the overall scope, including a new passenger transport lot and a broader range of suppliers appointed, the framework will prove popular with contracting authorities in the UK. The framework has been procured under the Procurement Act 2023 (PA23), providing assurance to end users that it follows the very latest public procurement regulations. Following the recent announcement of funding allocations from the UK government through the Local Transport Grant (LTG), TPPL is well placed to support organisations to expedite procurement of assets and services. This support will help local authorities to deliver more ambitious transport projects.”
