It has been announced that the government will provide 450 million pounds of funding to local authorities for the rollout of new electric vehicle charging infrastructure. The funding is part of a 1.6 billion pound strategy in place to deliver a network of 300,000 electric vehicle chargers by 2030.
The news comes as a welcome boost to help accelerate expansion of EV charging infrastructure in the UK, to help support the ever-increasing number of battery electric vehicles being registered.
