Enterprise Mobility, a leading provider of mobility solutions, is proud to support and strengthen the communities where its team members live and work. The organization promotes a culture of generosity through employee giving, charitable grants and volunteerism. Specifically, through its My Purpose. My Time. initiative, Enterprise Mobility also empowers team members to dedicate a paid day off to volunteer for a cause of their choice.
This year, Howard Duff, Enterprise Mobility Business Rental Sales Manager, Public Sector and Car Club for London, Southeast and East Anglia, applied for a £3000 grant on behalf of TPPL’s chosen charity, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. Accordingly, when asked about his thoughts on this, Howard commented, “With over 480+ branches nationwide, including in Cambridgeshire, Enterprise Mobility is proud to be part of local communities and is dedicated to supporting the individuals and families within them. It’s wonderful to see how this donation will help people access the vital services provided by Arthur Rank Hospice.”
Arthur Rank Hospice Charity supports people in Cambridgeshire living with an advanced serious illness or other life-limiting condition, as well as those who need end-of-life care. Their outstanding services are provided free of charge to patients and their families, with a mission to provide the highest quality care and help people to make every moment count. Over 3,800 patients each year are cared for at the Hospice in Cambridge, the Alan Hudson Centre in Wisbech and in patients’ own homes via the Arthur Rank Community Team. This care supports people to improve their quality of life and fulfil their end of their life choices.
On behalf of the Arthur Rank Hospice team, Julia Latif, Corporate Partnerships Manager, collected the £3000 donation and shared her thoughts with us regarding this; “Arthur Rank Hospice Charity is incredibly grateful to The Procurement Partnership Limited and Enterprise Mobility for their generous donation. This donation will help us to continue providing vital care and support for people in Cambridgeshire living with advanced serious illness, life-limiting conditions and end of life care. Thank you for making a difference.”
On a more personal note, following the sad passing of our founding Director, Jim Brennan, TPPL chose to support Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, as Jim was cared for by the hospice during his final days, where he was provided exceptional care. James Brennan, Managing Director of TPPL, said;
“This is the second time TPPL has chosen ARH as the beneficiary of an Enterprise Mobility grant. The hospice does amazing work and makes a huge difference to support families with care in the region, both in the hospice facility and through comprehensive home care nursing support. I would like to personally thank Enterprise Mobility for supporting this excellent cause, I know how much pledges like this help them to continue providing much needed care in the community.”
